Not to good about keeping my blog up to date!

Hi everyone! So sorry for not being real up to date on my blog, I think I sometimes have to many "irons in the fire"! My new knee was one year old on January 7, 2010 and is doing great! My back surgery in early August was a success but is still not feeling like it should. I just need to be patient as my doctor says it can take up to a year to get all good and healed. If you would like to keep a better track of me with regular updates, you can follow me on Twitter or become a friend on Facebook. Have a GREAT and HEALTHY 2010! :-)

Congrats on 13 years! Enjoyed your book. Best wishes.

(The back better be ready by April 2011. No excuses.)

Just finished Duel In The Sun, for the third, maybe fourth time. What a great read.

I believe you were 7 years sober at the end of the book... Congratulations on 13 years!

You're an inspiration to so many.

Dick, congratulations! You were nice enough to let me accompany you on a run a few years ago when you came down to the University of Wisconsin Madison. We ran trails at Picnic Point, and talked about all the important things in life and what a wonderful gift it is. We truly are fortunate to have been given a second chance. Would love to connect with you again sometime. Congrats on 13 years...I just completed my 12th!

It is nice to know that even after having surgeries, you can still run and enjoy life. I placed 2nd in the Dick Beardsley Half-Marathon in 2006 and have needed knee and hip surgery in the last three years and am now just starting to run seriously again. It has been frustrating to say the least, but I figured I'd say something because I am sure that you know what it feels like.
